Urud Bridge
The Urud Bridge is a 19th-century architectural monument located in the village of Urud, within the Qarakilsa district of the historical Zangezur region. Spanning both banks of the Bazarchay River, this single-arch bridge bears an inscription indicating its construction in 1849. Built using river stones and hewn rocks set with lime and sand mortar, the bridge rests securely on solid basalt foundations at both ends. Local accounts suggest that the bridge's construction incorporated approximately one hundred thousand eggs.
